Rich Chocolate Frosting

Excellent frosting for basic yellow and chocolate cakes

Ingredients

1 C semisweet chocolate morsels

1/2 C half-and-half

1 C butter

2 1/2 C sifted powdered sugar


Procedure

Combine chocolate morsels, half-and-half, and butter in a saucepan, cook over medium heat. Remove from heat, blend in powered sugar. Set saucepan in ice, beat at medium speed of an electric mixer. until frosting holds its shape.

Yield: 3 cups
