Guacamole

Guacamole is commonly thought of as a dip for corn and taco chips, but you can also serve it as a salad dressing over shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes.

Ingredients

1 medium avocado, peeled and mashed

1/4 C onion, finely chopped

1/4 C tomato, chopped

1 T lemon juice

1/2 t salt

1/4 t hot sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped

Procedure

Combine all ingredients, stirring until blended.

Yield: 1 1/2 cups
